3:30 hours until Iftar
and I am dying starved without energy, massive headache, and gas problems from last nights heavy suhuur. This Ramadan is going to be the longest and hardest I have ever fasted.

These are the Muslims we have today. Different threads popping up, focusing on the time that is left till they break their fast.
Shouldn't we be focusing on the privilege of fasting, being alive and looking forward in fasting the coming days, weeks and years?

I don't think it is a privilege to fast, more a necessity and the more I complain the more I am learning my lesson...about learning what it is like to be poor and not have anything to eat, about fighting my desires and whims, about being disciplined, etc.

Trust me, it's a PRIVILEGE to be able to fast for the sake of Allah.Voltage wrote:I don't think it is a privilege to fast, more a necessity and the more I complain the more I am learning my lesson...about learning what it is like to be poor and not have anything to eat, about fighting my desires and whims, about being disciplined, etc.
When the person who use to Fast every Ramadan purely for Allah, when he dies, he'll regret not being able to fast on the hottest days and not be able to wake up for Salat Fajr on the coldest mornings.
That is how our Iman suppose to be.

Alxamdulilah I am doing pretty good, before ramadaan I used to eat my first meal around 5 pm. I also think big saxuurs will make u even more hungry later in the day, so I eat a bowl oatmeal, drink plenty of water and maybe one fruit and I am good to go.

C'mon guys, don't treat ramadan as a burden. I mean it's difficult, but the reward is outstanding
I have two hours left before I break my fast, and I will be heading out to the gym soon.

Same here. They only problem I have when it comes to fasting is the not-drinking part. I can go without a meal all day, but I love water so very much.Shirib wrote:My throats dry, other than that, Im good
