
Indian government has opened its embassy for Somalia in the capital Mogadishu on Sunday where the new ambassador with officials of the Somali government cordially welcomed the ambassador.
The minister said that the new ambassador had good experience for the job he was appointed adding that he worked different countries as Findland and Egypt in the past.
He said that Somali president Sheik Sharif Sheik Ahmed had accepted the identity letter of the Indian ambassador for Somalia.
Mr. Omar said lastly that the India named another ambassador to Somalia earlier, but changed to Mr. Sibabrata Tripathia as to be India’s representative for Somalia.
