We dont really care what ethiopia wants we care what we want. Not what somalia want this is africa every country cares for what they want.
As for ogadeniyas independence well i think all the tribes in that region would want an independent country now if one clan decides they want to join another country that would mean that shinile. Ciise. Lands would want to be part of djbouti. Gaashaamo daroor harta sheikha north jijiga zone danot awbare and teferi ber and dembel would join somaliland . And then the ogaden lands can join somalia or kenya

somaliweyne,is an illusion, pipe dream, white elephant e.t.c. it is akin to a goat playing guitar or a muslim praying facing jerusalem or a christian fasting in ramadhan. whoever that supports it is an enemy of peace. any attempt to try it will be met by bantuweyne across the horn. only ethiopia our eternal brothers will be spared and tiny jibuti whos rais reminds me of yokozuna.

If you wanted your own ish, you would have done things your way not meles' way. N number two, if other clans residing in the ogaden want to have a say then they better fight for it. freedom is expensive.The_Emperior5 wrote:We dont really care what ethiopia wants we care what we want. mashalah sxb your concepts 100% matchs mineEstarix wrote:I dont like this federalism, all it is one big barrier and obstacle to Somali unity. I mean whats the point of federalism exactly? do we not have the same culture? ethnicity? language? could you tell the difference between a Somali from Hargeisa to one from Kismaayo to one from Bosaaso excluding the accent; accents are hardly a big deal most countries have got regional accents.AhmedBoqor wrote:Pan-Somalism hasn't died but the original Somaliweyn is not anything but a pipe dream.
I would like to however see Ogaden becomes its own independent state, as well as the NE province of Kenya. They both have a larger populations than Djbouti and it would be nice to see if they can get separated from their imperial states. After that has been established, we could foresee a Somali peninsula states council where each nation would be independent of the others but united at the same time for a cause of stability and economic prosperity within the region, I would even welcome a separate state for Somaliland if that were to be the case.
We could have a decentralised rule and local authorities/councils with bigger power, and a formula should be devised which dis-allows some cities or regions to monopolise the budget.
All im saying is some changes in some areas could be fixed and we'd be better off, federalism only exacerbates clanism and divides this bloody country more. Next thing you know, youll have federal states breaking off or fight with one another, or fight for clan superiority because of clan grievances. Same gibberance that has been plaguing the country for decades.
