You have distorded the truth. While its true that he was enjoying support 2006. There is nothing more to it. Nada. Its 2010 and everybody hated him. He lost all of Mogadishu, and areas of the South to Al shabab. He was stealing funds and making bogus trips wich gave him the name"sh. dalxiis". His incompetence in leadership skills & practising his islamic values such as not stealing and lying was exposed for everyone to see.

Sh. sharif was a desparate man in New york, meeting US officials & attending seminaries. There he met Farmaajo, wich switched some ideas with him and Sh. sharif asked for his CV. He got chosen and Farmaajo set the pace for genuine development & accountability to be implemented in the highest order of the Goverment. The only condition he gave Sharif was that he does not INTERFERE with farmaajo's work and the monkey agreed on that simple condition. Farmaajo & his cabinet was largely behind this sudden policy change, and the people supported it.

Regarding Al shabab, it was AMISOM and TFG soldiers that did the work, with the help of boosting the TFG soldiers morals & PAYING their salaries. Wich didnt happen before Farmaajo arrived.

That is the truth.

So everything Farmaajo did and the new PM is doing now is purposeful and premeditated but every positive achievement of Shariif is a fluke?

His "bogus trips" have actually meant that the Somali people have received billions in aid from governments all over the world and the TFG has the world's attention.

No politician is to be trusted but give credit where it's due. Like it or not this is the closest any TFG has gotten to achieve a real future for Somalia and this TFG has been headed by Sheikh Shariif.

BlackVelvet it's true that Sharifs softly softly approach is paying dividends. It's obvious without his leadership style the success we are witnessing today would not have been possible.
If you notice, prime ministers are changed regularly with little change on the ground. Sharif is doing an excellent.

Ximaan, Farmaajo definitely deserves credit but the point is without Shariif, Farmaajo wouldn't have become PM, no matter who introduced them, without Nuur Cade there wouldn't be the peace agreement and Shariif wouldn't have been President. In hindsight this has been like a marathon which has led to the TFG, despite the lack of constant leadership with changing PMs, to achieve a lot.

if he cleans shabaab from the entire south he will go down in the history books as the leader who closed down the chapter civil war in Somalia now he already controls almost 95% of Xamar.The Prime Ministers are appointed by him they dont hold any real power the president holds the Most power. It wasn't Sheikh Shariff let go Farmaajo.

Farmaajo was kicked out by the UNITED NATIONS, they hated him. The see him as a obstacle. Cause Farmaajo was challenging them, telling them to bring their offices in Nairobi to Mogadishu, he was telling them to stop blocking the peace in Somalia. They felt he was the guy that will bring back Somalia, thats why they kicked him out. Sheikh Shariff is powerless, i wish he had the guts like Farmaajo. Farmaajo didn't care about losing power, he went at it and at it to the UN, back Sheikh Shariff is scared to lose power thats why he is a YES MAN, atleast Farmaajo made the Somali people to wake up. Indeed Farmaajo was a wake-up call to Somalis. He will be remembered, but sheikh Shariff won't be remembered, the guy has no history.
