I don't believe the intention behind his cartoons is to be funny. He depicts the reality of the situation in Somalia as he knows.

Puntland actually is safe. Assasinations happen everywhere, but generally speaking there isn't insecurity.

Have you been to Puntland ? North Galkacyo which is only minutes away is a war zone at night. Assassinations, bombings etc are a daily occurrence. Bosaaso is officially run by AL Itixaad with only a nominal PL govt presence. Garowe is the only city fully controlled by the PL govt.
