both benayoun and park were lille's targets and scot parker opted out for spurs move!( which would have been unthinkable few years back).

Ok, firstly I asked for the targets of Stoke and B'burn who you practically said were on par with the Arsenal and we were competing with the likes of them. Not the French champions who you seem to be placing in the same calibre as below average mid-table English clubs.

Arsenal shoulda kept the 2007 team of Hleb [then Nasri], Fabregas, Flamini, Gilberto, Diarra, Adebayor and Toure.

None of these players have been properly replaced.

Every other club Man Utd, Man City, Liverpool iyo Chelsea are buying proper players and Arsenal falling further and further behind. The gap is gonna get bigger.

all those players would have signed for the likes of stoke and b'burn any other season, most of your main targets did not come (mata, cahill, hazard, parker, lucho gonsalez, downing and even depmsey), arsenal are not the club they were three or five years ago (well atleast since the emirate move) plus its a know fact that arsenal or arsen “ cannot make the same moves as before the transfer market. Rather, he is obliged to sell its best players and bet on the young.”(nasri)

They might not be "greats"but some of them have won stuff since leaving Arsenal. They won jack shit whilst at Arsenal.

Flamini has gone to Milan and won the league title there.

Lassana Diarra won FA Cup with Portsmouth and Copa del Rey with Real Madrid

Fabregas gone to Barcelona, already won a trophy, and will win many more.

Nasri gone to Man City and will finish above Arsenal

Kolo Toure won the FA Cup with Man City

Hleb and Adebayor have been utter shit.
