In my Salafi days when a turban baked my skull in the heat I did not shy from giving a khutba at my buddy Jimmy's wake.

Wine is a sedative. Frayed nerves and high blood pressures are cooled by a bottle of spanish white. Heck, I necked one even then. Desperates times call for desperate ...

But what does a little chit who sticks his nose in the bottom of the beardos fives times day know about life?

Galol,

I'm more interested in knowing What happened to you in your salafi days so much so that you had to abandon your turban and seek comfort in the forbiden bottle?

LOL @ Forbidden bottle

For someone keen to sample the rivers of wine of the afterworld and the endless procession of women, your disdain for the Drink of Life is not convincing. The only difference between you and I is deferred gratification. So why the pretence my kindred?

It's akin to a man who says rape is immoral. Today. But fine tomorrow. Either something is innately bad and eternally wicked, or not.

Galol,

The world is a trial for us muslims. somewhere to keep you temptations at bay. whoever passes the trial is bound to enjoy the wines and the vodkas that are of better quality than the ones you enjoy sipping in this world  Besides seeing what alcohol does to weekend revelers, i would rather pass than take a sip my kufaar forum mate.

beer beer beer am going for a beer

You skipped my question why?

narrate what exactly happened to you in your salafi days that made you grow into a women fantasizing, wine sipping, bitter old man?

Fingering wine for the ills of binge drinking is no less daft than blaming food for obeseity. Anything can be taken to excess.

The Muslim world is free of booze, but are they more economically productive? Do the camel-raping Arabs have a greater life span than a Yank? Fuhgeddaboutit.

If you accept that wine is not inherently bad for you are keen to drink whole oceans of it, and if you concede that debauchery is not innately wicked for you will get your penis wet abundantly when you become an angel, the only quarrel we have is whether one should enter the bar at five o'clock or seven. I choose the earlier time. But essentially, we are both gonna have a drink so how can I take a moral system like that seriously? Replace wine with rape and you will see why something cannot be immoral today and good tomorrow.

I never meant to evade your question waraa. I'm just puzzled. You've seen my artillery fire against this type of thinking enough to understand my views. I've got nothing more to add.

Why should i replace alcohol with rape. they are two different things. besides where did you pull the idea rape will be xalal in the after life from? you are comparing oranges and apples duqa. We're glad and thankful to our islam for making alcohol xaram knowing how many billions the NHS as you may well know spends righting the wrongs of the alcohol in the society we live with and other societies in the so called developed world.

I never conceded alcohol is not inheerently bad. It's the mother and the dad of all sins and an evil thing to indulge in. bye bye

If you want to save the NHS money waraa, get off welfare and flip burgers at McDonalds. I will toss you a few coins as a tip. Buy your girlfriend a necklace. And vastly more sums are spent on clearing up the honour killings in the Muslim world and the FGMs than alcohol.

To say that you will neck Vodka when the time comes is to say Allah is cool with Vodka and therefore not immoral. Just a case of timing.

I never asserted that rape is halal in the afterworld. Who needs rape when you will have a cosmic brothel? I said that to prove that something cannot be immoral today and good tomorrow, just replace the word rape with wine and see how much sense that makes. Either something is innately bad or not. Rape and murder are always and everywhere bad. Alcohol is not.

That is not a coherent moral system.
