The fact that Shire Jaamac Axmed was the architect of the Latin script is not open for questioning. He devised it and perfected it.

When his script was chosen by the 1972 committee chaired by Muuse Galaal, Shire went to Maxamed Siyaad and asked for the national language script to be renamed after him (The Shire script) but Maxamed Siyaad rejected it, fearing that the Somali language script would have a personal stamp to it and the public would denounce it.

I am laughing at the indho adeeg of the illiterate Emperior wallahi. he can neither clearly read what I wrote and he can neither read clearly what he brought. The Somali script of Latin we use that was chosen to become the script of the Somali people, that is modified to represent the Somali language with "x", and "ca", "qa" and oo, uu, and the rest of the form we use the script to write Somali was invented by Shire Jaamac Axmed and the whole world knows.

Some people want to even deny them their contribution because they consider them country bumpkins.
Samatr, this verifies my theory that somalis worship a god called tribalism: when true heroes who contributed to our independence and culture are given tribal labels.
Get over yourself. You somehow see no problem with the Isaaq saying Muuse Galaal is Isaaq, yet my saying Shire Jama Axmed, the man who invented the Somali script, is "Marehan". This right after you brought your Hawiye propaganda to me in another topic and sent me a pm telling me to be "warned" for being a fake jihadist. Love it when people feign fake indignation about tribes and the like when they are the biggest tribalists. You don't have a problem with tribalism, you have a problem when something like the writing of the Somali script is accredited to a Somali of the Marehan clan.

I am almost certain that you were either gangraped by the same people who you day in and day out called savages   or the village talk is that you are the son of a rape victim by the savages. About the fake jihadist allegation, I know you and what you do when you are not only somalinet.

I did not write anything concerning shire Jama, if he contributed to promoting the somali language he deserves praise and his name should not be used by a tribalist netter and a fake jihadist .

Muuse Galaal supercedes tribalism. Nobodoy praises Muse Galal because of tribal affiliation. Soon you will run out of options; you called me A hawiye before and now an Isaaq?

P.s. Surely Roving Madness has murdered you hit on this website. You display all the signs of a bullying victim

This is my last response to you on this subject considering you really cannot read. The latin Somali modified script was "officially" chosen in 1972 in a committee made by Siad Barre, however the actual script was in use from the 1950's on and it was made by Shire Jamac Axmed. Since the 1960, the Somali state was trying to get an official script...and many were in competition from Osmaniya, Kaddare, Gedabirsi, Arabic, and Shire Jama's latin modified script. The committee presided over by Musue Galaal was only to choose which one of those would be the official script. They didn't "make" a script.

Even before, there was an "official script", Shire Jama was printing the first Somali magazine using his latin modified script.

Finally, I am going to leave again with a man from your own clan, Dr Xussein Tanzania who is Isaaq/Habar Yonis and the first Somali to graduate from Harvard University on his whole book devoted to how Somalia got a script.

Voltage ur losing it u even admit that the somali script was intact before msb and his regime we are getting some where now. Officially or unofficially the somali script was intact before siyaad barres regime, you said the latin alphabet was invented by shire guy and now you admit that it existed before only this time you add he created it. Two decades before msb i rest my case  The whole point is shire did not create the somali script he reshaped and thats the only credit he will get but it was invented by xaaji muusa galaal, and to adopt the latin alphabet was decided by xaaji muusa galaal i will post later poems he wrote in the early sixties using the somali latin script

It is not my fault you can't read or comprehend properly and it is ironic this much is apparent when you are trying to debate literary history. I don't even know why I bothered.
