And only you, SXB, would construe my posts in this thread as support for CIA torture. What I said was that Wiggless' article had more indication the CIA, or at least the US, was involved than did GK's photos and story. Not that I doubt for one moment that the CIA has a base at the airport.

The Corpse (!) is celebrating it's 50th anniversary this year. I served as a volunteer at the request and discretion of the Somali Government and was never debriefed by anyone. It is my understanding that the Kacaan government has the distinction of being the only one ever to kick the Corps out, so your paranoia is probably in good company.

I think I have read the article and I found I had no grounds to disagree with it. My experience wasn't all kumbaya either.
