Gulf states want people with experience. They won’t simply take every deadbeat who can’t find a job with a lame major. Somalia will take anyone, but expect the pay to be low or nonexistent and the risk to your life and well being extremely high.

Not true, I know enough people who got jobs in KSA, Egypt, Kuwait, UAE, etc. with a basic B.Sc degree. As long as you graduate from an accredited Western university with decent grades, it's not hard to get a job teaching English or even getting an entry-level position in the petroleum sector. They basically view a western degree as you being certified in life.union wrote:Gulf states want people with experience. They won’t simply take every deadbeat who can’t find a job with a lame major. The hardest part is looking for a job inbetween grad and undergrad, everyone wants commitment for an entry level position -_-. A job in the mideast shouldn't be a back up plan,
at the salaries they offer there plus the benefits (tax free, 2 months paid vacation, maid and chef
) it's my first choice

Depends on what you study. Engineering and medicine will certainly land you a job overseas. If you want to work for an NGO, gender studies, conflict resolutions and development studies will do.
