QuestionS about Somalinet ?

Post by anonymousfaarax »

Is this website some non-profit project ?

If not, how is this website financially sustainable considering that there are no adverts and hence no earnings therefrom ?

To answer the question, owning a site nowadays is real cheap its about getting started that's the hard part, I'm pretty sure SNet is a non profit site at the moment, Although in the past, it had its share of money making ads. You name it, it had it. From google to match.com ads. nowadays SNET is on lifesupport.

Waryaa is quite the philantrophic then

Then I must be overestimating the cost of servers. With the amount of traffic this website gets and nonsense and information that is colated on here and is warehoused for several years you'd be incurring some costs. Considering I don't see any adverts, pay a subscription or buy products from this website, i'm not buying it. There is something fishy about this arrangement.

As long as it is providing us free service and freedom to voice our opinion, I think that is more than enough. If we are asking them where do they get the money to run the forum, I think that is bit too far. I doubt they will ever disclose it.
