Maasha'allah over the last 10-20 years our people back home have gained much more knowledge in the diin and more learned Sheekhs are opening up dugsi Qur'aans focusing on teaching Tawheed and the correct Tajweed. When I went in 2006 my young cousin was reciting so beautifully and you would even see this with children far out in the baadiye.

Wallahi when I saw this for the first time I felt a great deal of emotion happy feelings. In the midst of a civil war and a terrible drought it was the attitude of the war/drought affected children which made me happy. They were so happy to to recite the qur'aan and were even competing with each other on who shall read the ayahs.
