I don't understand people who choose to go into this field, then complain about how it clashes with their own views.
Did they not learn anything in high school?

Dailymail? Seriously? Source fail.

Re: Muslim medical students boycotting evolution lectures
I don't trust Dailfail but then after what I've seen on campuses and among "educated" Muslims, I wouldn't put this story beyond believe.
I've noticed a discouraging pattern: the more Muslims get closer to their religion (wear Hijabs, grow beards, ostentatiously display piety, etc), the more they embrace obscurantism, dogmatism and down right pettyness.

Daily Fail.
Using Daily Fail as a source is like me using odeyaasha at the local marfish as a source.

Walking out of an evolution lecture only makes them look like idiots. There really isn’t a debate on the validity of evolution anymore.

The theory of evolution is not science, but a dogma kept alive despite science.

A theory isn't a static truth.union wrote:There really isn’t a debate on the validity of evolution anymore.

This is worldly cilm they should pursue it even if it does conform to there religious views, how will they contest its validity if they don't immerse themselves in its study.

evolution is law. theres even evidence of it in the quran. i could understand someone protesting a handful of lectures on darwins theory of evolution specifically, but this sounds retarded.

subhanallah! there's dalil in the quran of the truthfulness of evolution???Nanees wrote:arabmtu wrote:A theory isn't a static truth.union wrote:There really isn’t a debate on the validity of evolution anymore.

evolution is just one crazy man's idea of how people started. there are no facts nor is it believable. if we came from chimpanzees, how come chimpanzees of today are not becoming human beings??? just using logic will solve your retarded brain's problems.
on the other hand, for students, if it is required, they should attend the lecture and consider it like it never happened. not only evolution, even in philosophy class my professor used to say a lot of stuff that were outrageous and that didn't make any sense yet i attended all of his classes because if i didn't, i wouldn't have graduated.

I didn't get how it's "law." Is it law like traffic law in which if you make a violation you pay a fine or even get arrested? Please cite a few examples of evidence in the Quran.Nanees wrote:evolution is law. theres even evidence of it in the quran. i could understand someone protesting a handful of lectures on darwins theory of evolution specifically, but this sounds retarded.

ya juuj and ma juuj are in the quran as descendents of nabi adam, yet their physical descriptons are much different then ours (size/strength).arabmtu wrote:I didn't get how it's "law." Nabi nuuh is stated to have lived 1000+ years, and it was normal for people of his time. Yet nowadays we have 70yrsish lifespan.
Nabi adam was one man, yet his progeny have such a widespread amount of features (indians, whites, blacks, chinese).
they're literally everywhere, it just takes an open mind to find them.
