Why can't you just be a Muslim without giving yourself an extra label to go along with it?

LOL, saying you follow the Salaf is a mandate in Islam. basically every muslim should be salafi (followers of the sahaba, tabiceen and tabi-tabiceen) Its not a sect man. You go learn your deen!1nemansquad wrote:so you will disown being a Muslim because of other individuals?

Salafees are believed to take the most evidence from the qur'an and sunnah - salafiyyah is not a sect, its following the qur'an And sunnah the way the companions and their followers and their followers followd it as - the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم Said that the best of his followers are the first three generation - salafiyyah is holding onto the haqq no matter where and keeping it pure1nemansquad wrote:Why can't you just be a Muslim without giving yourself an extra label to go along with it?

Re: I am a proud salafi
Free from bid'ah as the rasool(SAW) also said: kullu bid'atin dalaala, wa kullu dalaatin fin naar - every bid'ah is a misguidance and every misguidance is in the fire. so basically salafiyyah is the deen pure! some people wanna follow their desires call it 'extreme' but really it is the our deen.
The term salafee is used 4 short for a muslim following qur'an wa sunnah with the understanding of the salaf.

Re: I am a proud salafi
still, its a sect, like it or not
The Quran encourages Muslims to follow the Prophet (pbuh) as the best example to mankind. The others (salafi/wahabi) may or may not have been good people who did good or bad things, but none of them are an equal example to the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and you can find all you need to know to live as a good Muslim from Quran and if you really need more information, there is the sunnah
Allah (swt) did not encourage Muslims to follow (names), and I would not do so personally for any perceived gain.

Grandpakhaliif has become permanently retarded. He doesn't even understand what he is trying to say.
Salafism, similarly to Wahabbism, is not unique because it "follows the Salafiyyah," it is unique because of the fundamentalist-yet-peaceful approach of their followers. Salafism is inherently against any sort of violence or militancy carried out by non-state factors. Meaning, a moron like yourself can't be a Salafi and support Al-Shabaab, it contradicts itself. Salafis believe that revolution against a leader proclaiming to be Muslim, is wrong. Meaning they believe it is a sin to rebel against Sheikh Shariif or even Mubarak.
What YOU are trying to say, which you are too dumb to be aware of, is that you are a Qutbist. People who follow the conservative patterns of Salafism yet reject the militant/political aspects, are practitioners of Qutbism. Salafism is a system promoted by the Saudis to prevent revolt, nothing more. The Saudi ulema are just tribesmen allied to the royal family, not jurists.

Re: I am a proud salafi
The true retard is Monk-of-Masturbation, first of all I am against the heretic Qutb who explicitly insulted Nabi Muse (AS), second of all I do not support Al Shabab militiant group, third of all the "salafis" you described are not the true "salafis" they are known as "Salafi-jadiids" a group of nonviolent, dictatorship-abiding salafis who have deviated from the Path of the true Ahlul Salaf. I am Neither a deviant qutbist or Salafi jadiidi, I follow the true SalafisMonk-of-Mogadishu wrote:Grandpakhaliif has become permanently retarded. He doesn't even understand what he is trying to say.
