Re: Do You Agree?
The Somaliland rant kinda ruins it, there are no other examples of what he has done to Somalia. He has to go because i think a Somali person would be better suited to the role.

Re: Do You Agree?
I have not read the article, but I know for sure that Mahiga does not have a good track record as an effective manager.
Why was he let go (okay transferred) from being a Resident Reprensentative for UNHCR in Liberia in the early 90s to the general UNited Nations system? And I am not talking about his reputation as a womanizer, or alleged sexual harrassments complaints filed against him. Liberia in the 90s and the role Mahiga played in mismanging millions of dollar speaks to how ineffective and corrupt this man is. Whether he goes or stays is not relevant as long as other non Somalis will decide what happens to Somalis, thanks to our ineffective and useless men who are incapable of seeing beyond their nose
NINKAAN TASHAN WAA LOO TALIN.

We are against anyone who interferes with Somalia's political affairs directly or indirectly
butWe call on him to stop separating the somali people , he is not somali
Mr mahiga failed to solve the somali crisis , so his time is over

Re: Do You Agree?
This is not about Somaliland . These same incapable motherfu, kers got rid of Ould Abdallah a muslim guy from Mauritanea .That guy always managed to never address the Somaliland case for fear of infuriating these clowns.
They still found something to blame him for

Any evidence of what you wrote above?
I wonder when somalis will have an independent mind on issues.

It isn't up to the mass Somalis for Mahiga to go. No.

Re: Do You Agree?
I don't see anything wrong with that Mr. Mahiga said. In fact I think his opinion that Somaliland is a democratic state that is an example for Africa is spot on. Also, his acknowledgement that Somaliland deserves recognition is a no brainer. However, what I find distressing is that Somalis are upset with him for pointing out the obvious. If someone had an axe to grind with Mahiga, I would have thought it would be about the way he manages to have usurped Somalia's Sovereignty. There is very little to harp on considering that the UN doesn't recognize nations. What is more alarming is the UN trusteeship Somalia finds itself in and how Mr Mahiga and his boots on the ground AMISOM, Kenya, Ethiopia and Uganda have effectively taken ownership of the land. Yet, we find this drivel about conspiracy theories.Talk about misplaced priorities.

Yes there is evidence, unfortunately it is not for public consumption. The UN has no protection for whistleblowers.Lamgoodle wrote:

However, you can do you own research and see what you come up with
I don't understand the last blanket statement you made.
