Also I dunno about Spain steamrolling everyone this Euro. Germany is a credible threat and is made up 100 percent of players who were developed in the Bundesliga.
They also seem to be changing from strategy, it use to be all about physic and good defense, now they are playing attractive football with the likes of Ozil. They humiliated Holland and even spared them more humiliation
Germany now plays like what Holland was well known for and Holland plays like the old Germany :?
No they dont play like Holland, Germany has a more solid team as a whole. Good defense, killing counter, in good shape etc etc. They brought the similarities between Holland and Germany in front of the german coach and he joked ' Holland plays good but they always end up second'. There's a serious undertone behind his remark

Holland doesn't play like they used to anymore. You would've never seen two holding midfield brutes like De Jong and Van Bommel in the past.

I still am sympathetic to them, but they are not what they used to be. Wasn't it Cruyff who said he was rooting against Holland to lose the World Cup Final because of how they played to get there?

LOL Yeah Van Basten turned the holy 4-3-3 into 4-4-2, and he was able to defeat France and italy in the group stage in Switzerland. Van Marwijk continued and they ended in the finals. Its a good step at the right direction
