So placing your thawb above your ankles is a sign of badownimo/ignorance? SMH.
What's wrong with being street sweeper (although that is not my goal..) Why do you look down upon the less fortunate while airing pride? Fear allah for they shall enter jannah before you and I.

In Sudan they are overtaking the Sufis they now control schools, universities, and businesses. their next move is to overthrow Omar Al Bashiir regime.

Yes it is, and it looks very retarded too. To be honest all the ones who wear those kinda clothes in the West seem to be very dumb or misguided. I like the khaleeji dresscode for men to be honest, very smart and nice when worn in its correct environmentgrandpakhalif wrote:So placing your thawb above your ankles is a sign of badownimo/ignorance? I do not look down upon them, but remember your family didn't travel across continents so you could repay them with being a street sweeper or a burger flipper. Stay in university and educate yourself.

Re: Salafis seen as rising power in Egypt
They don't oppose Bashir. Bashir is a smart guy, he appeals to them and allows them free reign as long as they don't threaten him. Maybe in the future when all Sudanis get fed up of Bashir, they will play a larger political role like what happened in Egypt, but I doubt that. Sudan is very different than Egypt politically, as are the dynamics.1moonlight wrote:In Sudan they are overtaking the Sufis they now control schools, universities, and businesses. their next move is to overthrow Omar Al Bashiir regime.

Watch from 24 minutes onward. They definitely are growing, but they are not anti Bashir at all.

The Arabs at that time DRAGGED their clothes out of arrogance and pride, the Prophet {p.b.u.h} hadith was against THAT . Now someone somewhere interpreted that hadith as > it's your Islamic obligation to look like a tramp and hallaluejah gullible people like you swallowed it hook line and sinker.

Re: Salafis seen as rising power in Egypt
I hope they clash with moderate Islamists and demand a return to strict Islamic shariah law by any means necessary.
Also the truce with israel must be broken in favor of full scale jihad.
