I don't understand why you guys wish for Somaliland to be a state within Somalia when in 1960 south somalia and Somaliland came together as 2 nations into 1. So why are we now reduced to a state now that is supposedly equal to puntland all of a sudden, even worse in your mindset we will be equal to the new hotel administrations. Its quite funny.

Since when does Somaliland share by qabil All 5 qabils of somaliland are represented in the government plus it is easier to cater for all and everyone gets treated easily this way.

i cant really speak for ssc but the people of awdal are happy as any people living under a peaceful government. The unhappy people are the people who came from awdal and now live in the west earning minimum wage. They are starting these hotel awdal state parties because they have nothing else better to do.
My grandfather was the former ambassador from somalia to canada and also considered reer awdal. He loves idea of somaliweyn but also loves the reality of somaliland. Allow dhowr
