May I be the first to say that I hope this oil business will work out for you and that you wont end up like Nigeria. In addition, i really hope that with the profits you make you can help out the lost people in the South and restore some pride into the Somali name.

btw I used be afraid oil in Somalia could end up like oil in Nigeria but I no longer think so, corruption might be here and there but it will never be at that level because of our ties to clans. We care too much about our tol and extended family. In other African countries you will see a man who's million air and his brother who's homeless.

It's not about the matter of handing out money, I was refering to the desperate situation in the South whereby we are forced to rely on other countries that dictate what we should or shouldn't do. A decent amount of wealth in puntland could change all of that and actually have a say in what goes on.

Trust me sxb, we as people might be messed up but when situation really hits the fan like the recent famine, all somalis from all over the world banded together and with little money made a difference, imagine big money in the equation, things will change drastically.
