I find it interesting that you wish to speak for people who have already spoken (and fought) for the right to decide their own future.

There is no real 'group' wishing to ''secede'' from Somalia. As I said, what you have are confused gangs and divided ones at that.

There is no such thing as Somaliland seceding, these states have other clans living with them including Dhulbahante and Gudabirsi so it would be pockets of land and villages moving out of the Somalia equation not states. Their best choice would be to stick it and stay put with Somalia like the rest of the folks in the country or if and when they come to a real consensus among themselves they have the right to leave.

I am going to be quit barbaric and admit that I really really would love to see reer dhulbahante armed properly and enjoy full blown out war between isaaq and dhulbahante. I know for a fact that reer Awdal won't join the war, kalshaale is quit well documented.

There is no need to try to explain to an isaaq that peace is in the long run in there benefits. Let's have this bloody war already.
