Dear Qabilist, I am Somali
Dear Qabilist,
Really it is 2012? If the only thing that you are proud of is your tribe than you are a loser. You should have done something in your life for yourself. Anything. But if that is all you have than okay I guess I shouldn’t diss you. But if want to use tribe to diss and insult people that is ridiculous. So what if I am Hawiye? Call me names whatever it doesn't matter. I am still your sister.
You cannot blame over a million people for the actions of a few people. That doesn’t make any sense. Especially at the one who were not there or the ones who were not even born at them time. That doesn’t make any sense. So what if someone of your tribe killed someone of mine probably someone of your tribe killed mine too. Did I do it? Did I kill them? No? Did I even hit your precious sister? No! I didn’t do anything to her. I didn’t do anything. I didn’t kill anyone. I never gave money to buy any guns. Blame that on the criminals who did that not on me.
Not to mention the fact that we are all related to many different tribes. I am related to tribes from every part of Somalia, so if I insult one I insult my own family. We are all Somalia. I am Somali. I don’t know about you. If you see yourself as not Somali than why are you on Somalinet. Why? You are not Somali anyway. Maybe you are just embarrassed to be Somali.
Yes, I know that Somalia is a poor country whether you live in the North or the South or Djibouti, or Ogaden where millions left from all over Somalia to become refugees. Somali people are some of the poorest in the world. Yet, we still point at each other and say I am better than you. How can you be better? Even if I am doing well in America my people don’t even have jobs or an economy. I can’t say a thing.
We have been reduced to the beggers in the world, begging for food, begging for recognition. It is a shame and disgrace to point at any clan in Somalia. We need to stop pointing and stop thinking about the past and create a new Somalia where every Somali has opportunity for a better life and that will only happen if we stop pointing at each other and look at the bigger picture of the future of Somalia.
Thank you,
Your Sister

Re: Dear Qabilist, I am Somali
Qabiil is our daily breakfast, our daily lunch and our dinner. These kids can't live without it. The weirdest thing on this website is what has hawiye to do with somaliland? Or marehan and ogaadeen with puntland? Do they have the same interests? No and No, the same situation? No and No the same land? No and No. Then Wtf they are on about?

bluelovelady, nothing can exonerate your ilk, putting aside irreversible actions like the killing, raping, etc you still have our properties, how sick and demented horta, these crocodile tears do nothing, you deserve what ever comes your way.

Re: Dear Qabilist, I am Somali
There are people who insult a qabiil while their mum, cousin, siblings mother/father or nans are from that qabil, imagine calling these people in your family names
