Whatever that is it's neither asphalt nor concrete... I guess the crooks behind this road paving project are more concern with stealing as much of the money meant for the road then its durability. Whatever that is it's a half ass job and heads need to roll ASAP if this project is to be properly funded.

That sort of road paving in Puntland is not the first of its kind sxb, I've seen some first hand in use and I'm afraid that's it. Really aside from driving on the main road built by the Italians getting anywhere around Bosaso is a headache. Whatever that shit is it sure is an improvement given the poor urban planning and the construction debris right in the middle of the road. I'd be surprised if real asphalt is used but I wouldn't count on it since it doesn't take much to put a smile on people's faces back home anymore. Just fixing the headache I've described and seen at first hand I'm sure would have them smiling from ear to ear.
