What's there to do in Hargiesa?

Post by Voltage »

I'm planning to go to Africa this summer and this time the main part of my trip is to Somalia. I plan to visit Gedo, Kismaayo, Mogadishu, Western Galgaduud, Boosaaso and I am thinking about seeing Hargeisa as well. What's there to do in Hargeisa and what would people who have gone tell me to look forward to either of positive or negative nature?

There are alot of things to do in Hargeisa  , go to the rich district/neighberhood jigjigayar, loads of people from abroad including hawt chix :)
Oh, and there some restauarunts, such as Imperial, and Xaraf, well known for its baasto and it's view over the doox (dry river bed), bro there's alot you can do, Hargeisa is the most developed Somali city after Djbouti and Mogadishu i would say

i went to hargeysa, bossaso, berbera and parts of gedo in 2008 it was good, hargeysa unlike most somali cities has a cool breeze you can stay outside for hours and wont sweat. the locals are friendly and the city is big, i remember being asked a couple of times what my qabil was and told them i am marehan they actually welcomed me and i enjoyed my stay over there but i have some isaq relatives who showed me the city and hanged around with.
