I am taking another hiatus to allow a third revelation to soak in. I will be back during the third week of March to assess it here.

For those new here, I will run down my first two revelations:

1. In October I said that within a few short months a great event would happen that would hasten Somalia's ascent - and that event was the Shabeel-1 spud
2. During the first week of February I stated that the London conference would break extraordinary news for Somalia's new resource economy - and that news is the world's renewed interest in Somali resource production

Now, for my third revelation I will state that between the third and fourth weeks of March, Somalia will become the site of the single largest gold rush in modern history. More money will go through Somalia from the month of April to Ramadan than has passed through the country in the entirety of its history. At the end of fiscal year 2012, Somalia's GDP will at least quadruple any previous record. The day is coming. And the ground is swelling up to serve that day.

Not just found, Shabeel-1 exceeded expectations. Preparation for operating the second drilling site has begun a while ago.
