Every clan is a political group. Socioeconomic confederations The founding myths just put together a common cord like nations have founding myths. Even the aboriginals have myths about their ancestry. No different here

ram nag, sounds like an indian takeaway. this source is clearly unacademic and flawed, claiming samaroon was a seperate clan and hawadle not being hawiye. i believe qabil should be left to those who know it best, i.e. the clan elders. but as jaidi said, there has been mishaps in abtirsi and many things arent as we make them seem. only in the hereafter will we have certainty in clans, so no need to lose sleep over it.
