Party Principles
The following party principles describe the core beliefs and values of the Tayo Political Party. We are proud to adopt these principles based on the belief of a Somali state that values economic, social and political security, opportunity and equality for all citizens, and respects both the human rights of the individual and the sanctity of life in a fair and just society. To that end:
We believe that Somalia needs a strong private sector economy to reduce reckless competition for power and resources;
We believe that Somalia deserves leadership that guides society to a prosperous and peaceful future;
We believe that Somalis should be left to manage their own state affairs and to reconcile their differences through local and traditional means;
We believe that the best government is one that is efficient, yet understanding—a government that is based not on systems or bureaucracies, but on people, ideas and values;
We believe there is no substitute for fair and equal representation and strong public participation in a government chosen through elections;
We believe in a government that advocates for Somali citizens - that listens, understands and addresses their concerns;
We believe that all of our citizens reap benefits when we, as a nation, meet our challenges together;
We believe in the equality of all of our citizens and condemn the use of clan-ism, nepotism, gender biases and all forms of discrimination;
We believe in a society that strengthens families and protects the elderly our children;
We believe in the rights of all citizens to achieve economic security;
We believe in a society that puts the health, safety and prosperity of its citizen’s first;
We believe in a society that values community and protects all citizens from violence and crime;
We believe in a society that protects women, children and elders, who deserve the right to live a peaceful and prosperous life;
We believe in pursuing these ideals peacefully, with honesty and integrity and respect for the Somali Constitution and the Islamic faith.

These guys need to understand that American style campaigning can not work in Somalia because it's ultimately the MPs ( corrupt ones at that too) that will decide the winning candidate. Farmaajo needs to get his boots back in Mogadishu instead of globe-trotting & he also needs to tone down his populist rhetoric & start presenting real solutions. He also needs to rearrange his inner circle as real leader that can appeal to all Somalis instead of being representative of a specific strand as he has recently morphed into.

Best of luck to him.

What's the specific strand? In the first page are the most closest people to him and are technocrats like him ...we see Fiqi (Raxanweyn), ina Samatar (Madhiban), and Dr Cabdinuur (Xawaadle).

Also I heard his Party will be launched worldwide in Mogadishu at the end of this month and he will be there

Saaxibow, I think anyone that's been to a Farmaajo rally knows what I am talking about.

By the way, by Fiqi do you mean the ex Defence minister? That guy is Dir.

Well the Diaspora in those places are disproportionately certain segments of the Somali people. For example, the Farmaajo declared the Tayo party in his Holland tour. Ask people from Holland, the diaspora there have disproportionately been for example from Gedo so of course it would reflect in the clan composition. Besides who is to say just because your clansmen come to your party, your appeal is limited to them? I think you need to judge him on his team rather than the people that show up to Diaspora rallies; that is how you truly know if the man is partisan or not.

Yes, Fiqi his former Defense Minister from Virginia. He is Raxanweyn, Dabarre.

Roving,

Farmaajo is not your naive guy. He is smart, and knows his books. Heck people are suspicious of him and they accuse him of laaluushing the parliament.

If he's already being accused of bribing the parliament, then I guess there goes his credibility lol

Hmm, I have always imagined Fiqi to be Dir.

At first you say he is technocrat and lean and clean and he has no experience to tackle the somali political corruption, and now u say otherwise. Pick and take

I personally have no hope in Farmaajo & I think he should be working to preserve the little sympathy folks have for him instead of dragging his credibility down the mud. He's been saying all sorts of fantastic nine sense & hanging around with the wrong people for regular people to relate to him.

But as I stated previously, best of luck to him.

Nobody has sympathy for him, they bloody beg for his return.

77 war veterans whom got paid salary from Farmaajo have complained a while ago for not getting any paid salary since Farmaajo wa here.

The TFG soldiers in Gedo and Jubooyinka complained a while ago for not getting salary since Farmaajo was here.

etc.

Its not Farmaajo who has lost, it is his people who have lost. And every Somali is determined that Farmaajo should be their leader. If you don't like the guy then don't make false evaluation. Such as I have no hope in him..blabla the guy doesn't need your hope, he already has got millions of hope of Somalis.

People are flying from country to country to listens to his speeches, and there are variety of supporters, from Hawiye to Raxanwyene, to Leelkase, to Dhulbahante to every damn Somali.

Even bloody Gabooye tribe supports Farmaajo! :lol:

Farmaajo is doing all the right things, his public profile is high and his political capital is immense.

Ximanjaale

did you know ducaale and president Abdi Mohamoud Omar(ina ilay) recently reconciled.
I didn’t know the immense influence that ducaale had over scandinavian countries, ina lay was complaining about that, on how ducaale cut aid to ethiopia, but they reconciled now and general gabre was there to.
I will pm you little ship story and ducaale that shows you the guys huge influence over scandinavian countrie
