Freaking Amxaar

Here is a video of an Eritrean runner beating up an Ethiopian rival, but instead of chasing the guy and fighting, the Amxaar kept his eye on the ball and finished first.

This is hilarious; if you look carefully the Eritrean is actually not thinking about the race even though he is running; in his mind he thinks the Amaxaar will come after him for more whupping. Epic!!!!

The eritrean guy got beaten and ran away, than the Amxaar thought he was continuing the race and started running too and passing the eritrean, the eritrean upon seeing the amxaar run past him is baffled, you can see the eritrean is preparing to fight as the ethiopian runs past him, what a spectacle.

Anytime I see it, it is as though I am seeing it the first time. My favorite part is how the commentators got caught off guard. You can hear one of them say "I don't think they are joking". The other thing is the Eritrean also got caught off guard, but it was too late too little. After the punches, he is in a boxing mode then realized the Ethiopian passing him...This says much about the passive nature of the Ethiopian; they are unassuming and always keep it to themselves. Imagine a typical Somali in that situation, he would have tripped the guy to get him down Or worse would have looked for a stick or budh or something from the crowd.

I heard about this too but thanks for posting it. See, that is what I am talking about; the Ethiopians are generally humble. Well, except their leaders who have deprived our people in Ogadenia from basic human rights. The normal Ethiopian citizens are actually unassuming, humble and well-mannered.

Look at the guy, he smiles when he realized what happened. If that was me, I would complete the race and wait the guy at the finish line.
