How can the countries goverment steal its people property? Your not making any sense here. I suspect your trying to cover up and justify the lootings done by your qabiil.BlackVelvet wrote:I don't see what's funny about that. A lot of people had their lands taken off them. Tuugnimo is tuugnimo and to move forward all stolen properties must be returned to their rightful owners regardless of their qabiil.
Abgaalking..Your for full of horse shit. No body looted any homes in Bosaso the only place where people looted everything is in Muqdisho Bosaso was just a little tiny unknown tuulo before the civil war...Truth be said all Somalis from all clans had their investments and wealth in mugdisho and we non hawiye Somalis lost everything and now here your denying everything no wonder Somalia and mugdisho is a shit hole.

But let me guess. What was stolen from Darood should be returned what was stolen from everyone else is fair game?In the 1950s the landowning group began a systematic land-grabbing campaign designed to create banana plantations and other irrigated farms. But the biggest land grab was perpetrated in the 1980s by those closely associated with the Siad Barre regime. Sometimes the land was not even farmed, the title being used as collateral for obtaining loans from aid donors—which were then used for trade or consumption. The former farmers were reduced to landless laborers.

How do you know if any houses were built on that land?BlackVelvet wrote:But let me guess. I guess you'd have to go and look?
Re: xamar is back
I think there's confusion here between land grabs and stolen houses. If your land was forcefully taken by the kacan gov does it mean you can take revenge by stealing another's house?

LOL 1950's Somalia was a colony at that time those lands could belong any qabiil in south from darood to hawiye or beesha jareerweyne. And as for the 1980's well again those lands could belong any qabiil.BlackVelvet wrote:But let me guess. I think we should avoid selective justice because it is not going to create any progress.any land taken illegally by the kacaan should be returned to its owners unless a public institution(hospital, ministry or school) has been built on it.furthermore, those house that legitimately has been bought and were occupied in 1990 should be returned as per se.that is what bv is saying.

Re: xamar is back
Why should I or any other person who got their houses and bussiness looted pay for what the kacaan did? It's not like I or any other who lost their home and everything in the capital were closer to the kacaan than you...abgaalKING wrote:I think we should avoid selective justice because it is not going to create any progress.any land taken illegally by the kacaan should be returned to its owners unless a public institution(hospital, ministry or school) has been built on it.furthermore, those house that legitimately has been bought and were occupied in 1990 should be returned as per se.that is what bv is saying.

Ma i fahmin.Colonel wrote:I think there's confusion here between land grabs and stolen houses. If your land was forcefully taken by the kacan gov does it mean you can take revenge by stealing another's house?
Colonel to simply answer your question no. Firstly because you can't take another person's property, property that was never yours, as revenge.
Secondly there was land that was grabbed prior to and mostly during the MSB regime. This land was not just taken from communities, it was taken from individuals. This land should also be returned to their rightful owners.
I think we can all agree that stealing is wrong and anyone who had something stolen from them has a right to ask for it back whether it was stolen by mooryan or grabbed by the government.
