So i have this Iraq barber, ask me if I'm arab, maybe from Sucuudi, I'm like wtf, he is like you are arab, I'm like no I'm soomali, he is like no you are arab. Then I go into black arabs in Iraq, and he is like no, I'm like yes, he goes in south and in kuwait.

then that same night, at a mawlid, this morrocan goes he is very impressed with Somalis tajweed, and this syrian goes somalis are arab, and i'm like I don't know about that, he goes yes they are even in the arab league, I'm like ok, and he is like some people want to deny it but...

smh this happened in less than 24hr time span.

You are not an Arab, but a lot of the Arabic speaking Somalis wouldn't have protested if they found themselves in the same situations you were in.

Similar thing happens to me all the time. Every time an Arab person talks to me, he speaks in Arabic. After I give em a wtf look they ask me if I can speak Arabic. Then I give em a 'does it look like I can speak f-king Arabic?' look. Seriously, it happens every time without fail.

you used the word "like" 9 times is such few sentences. i know an arab guy who uses this word in each sentence. no wonder the iraqi guy thought you was arab.

WE SHOULD GIVE ERITREA OUR ARAB LEAGUE POSITION. THEY ARE GEOGRAPHICALLY CLOSER TO THE MIDDLE EAST, ARABIC IS AN OFFICIAL LANGUAGE IN ERITREA, MOST ERITREANS ARE SEMETIC LIKE ARABS.

No Arab will ever think you're Arab, especially the minute you open your mouths and they hear your broken or non existent Arabic. However if you speak Arabic properly they will do a 360 and consider you one of them.
