Creating a national army should be our first priority.

I hope the next hawiye president will continue from where sh.sharif stopped.

1. The troops need bullet-proof vests.

2. The Arms embargo should be lifted from the Somalia so professional security forces can be formed with state of the art military equipments.

3. Accounts should be setup where Somalis could donate the rebirth of the Somali State.

4. All of the donated money to Somalia should be available to Somali leaders. If corrupt European and African UN beareaucrats are wasting it, let the Somalis waste it. At least fractions of it will reach Somalia.

I think if we can raise the Somali national army to 20-30 thousand organized, disciplined and professional soldiers not a rag tag militia for hire, then it would be enough to secure the whole country. We need the arm embargo lifted so our army has access to modern heavy and sufficient weapons. I doubt the repeat of 1991 would happen if we get back on our feet inshallah
