Weird Poem

She has good intentions I guess, but am i the only one who doesn't know wtf she's talking about

She's talking about Somalia. She's humanizing the land.

I'm getting kinda sick of spoken word and the poor attempts at it. But this poem reminds me of one I shared back on Slife. They're similarly made. I've been searching for a cached version somewhere for a while, though can't seem to find it.

BV, i watched one of that Boona dude's videos for the first time today and it had me cracking up. dude was talking about kicking it old school with and adding sahaba to his 'crew' .

His "girl" was Islam, if we're thinking of the same vid. I had a similar reaction

I said sometimes 'cause I don't always like his method. But that's just me.

Christians have that informality with religion. I was thinking about that the other day how they say Jesus is God aka "JC" and "The Big Guy in the Sky".

Reverts have that same informality (assuming this guy is a revert?) There as that white sheikh in the US who said something about being the first in the mosque if Mary J.Blidge did the call to prayer. You'd never hear a Somali sheikh or most culturally Muslim folks say that.

From my experience, reverts have always been more adamant in practicing the deen formally. And no, Boonaa isn't a revert, to my knowledge.

The title of the poem? It was called "By Allaah, I miss you". I was running on an emotional high at the time

I doubt Ali would even respond let alone bother finding a way to retrieve it. Which is likely impossible.
