According to research done he wasn't a Welsh man or a Scot.. But rather an English man from Sussex.
Plus some English folks can also be pretty dark like Welsh people.. It depends on which region one hails from.

I think it just says England, because they don't want people to know he was Welsh, you know the Welsh have been treated bad like all the other random non Brits like Irish, Scotts etc.
are you blind Robert is not Jamaican but Welsh.
