I am not here to argue someone for the sake of argument, Ahlusunna group were part of all those meetings you mentioned and they are not regional government, I am talking about the TFG constitution here, and according to the TFG does not recognize it every dusty village in Somalia as a muumul goboleed otherwise they will end up having 5,000 opposing muumul goboleedyo
On the referendum Issue United Nations are expert on this matter, East Timor a republic of less than one million population were separated from the mighty 250 million Indonesia in the course of referendum, if all of Indonesia would have asked the future of East Timor they didn’t stand chance of getting anything close to independence same results if all Somalia asked what to do with Somaliland’s independence we have to be realistic here.
Last year UN held referendum in South Sudan exclusively no one asked the people of Khartoum and rest of Sudan what to do with the south Sudanese because it will give unfair advantage the people of north Sudan, and the same Rules apply here it is not something you can pick and choose, if you want an independent country from Somalia we are here to help you, we accepted the tiny Djibouti why not you, but it has to be fair to everyone neither me nor you can deny the rights of people in Awdal, Sool, South and East of Sanaag and the Buuhodle district, let them decide their destiny.

This is the disputed area between Somaliland republic and the semi autonomous region of Puntland the Majority of the disputed area is now in the hands of Somaliland by the way

So what do u suggest a separate referendum for those area's i say lets hold one for the entire country Somaliland and see the outcome also Khatumo state was established in taleex begin this year they don't want to be associated with Puntland
By the way this is Awdal

khalid khatumo will be the death of any hope of recognition your ilk still hold, the only reason the international community sees you is as "a peaceful region of somalia" what do you think will happen when "peaceful " is re-tracked from that statement

If anyone can serve as an honest broker and mediator is Galmudug. We don't oppose Somaliland. We don't oppose the TFG. We don't oppose Puntland.
Galmudug represents and fights for the rights of ALL Somalis. Our esteemed leader advocated for the inclusion of all Somalis (representation by 4.5 instead of the region which favors Puntland) in the Garowe II meeting and stormed out when the alleged Prime Minister of Somalia, Cabdiweli sided with Faroole and the alleged President Sharif Ahmed remained silent and in fact was quoted asking Caliim not to upset the meeting.

if you didnt oppose Pl you wouldnt involve yourself in matters that have absolutely nothing to do with you , dont ask relevant saxiib , everyone knows that galmududg has as much revelance in somali politics as jubaland and jubashebelle ...actually jubaland has more relevance.

It seems that the president of Puntland and the Somalia President are on almost equal footing.grandpakhalif wrote:i don't get why futoole is interfering in xamar, i mean this is talks between sh. shariif and somaliland not puntland state and somaliland. why does this guy always interfere in southern affairs?

somaliland must be told in no uncertain terms, that theses are unconditional talks.
If the secessionists insist upon setting preconditions they must be politically isolated.
The ongoing aggression and war crimes against Khaatumo people must be at the forefront of any discussions.
