What are some advices your parents gave you as a kid that you uphold to this day? I will go first. My mother told me to never speak while eating and to never lick my fingers after finnishing food. I dont do any of them even to this day. My father told me to never do zina and so did my mother and I uphold this one too. What about you?

the one sticked with me is; dont ever miss a prayer and fasting monday and thusday . it became like ramadan for me.

Reading ayatul kursi before sleeping,ma aabe and that became a natural thing for me.And to never dismiss someone and what they have to say regardless of how i perceived their first impression.
