He's good at what he does so chances are if he shuts you down you probably should stop singing.

True, the only people who have to suffer my singing are those that live with me and random people on the street who catch me in the moment.

You know your limitations.

I have a relative who wants to be on that show so I asked her to sing for me so I can evaluate her talent. She was terrible & I didn't have the heart to tell her how terrible her singing voice was. LHM Instead I just told to keep at it, and take singing lessons ASAP.

You know when you watch those shows and a really really terrible singer comes on and you wonder why on earth no one told them how terrible they are? You are one of those people who cause these things to happen
