Somali are among the best Bussniess men in all africa, they know how to make Money with Trade, I have seen that first hand as well. once somalia becomes stable they will have the whole east africa On lock when it comes to Trade,Somali Traders Just know what the demand is before the consumer Knows loooolgurey25 wrote:yes the potential is there, the projected percapita income of all somalia is equal to eritrea and ethiopia.MidriGeez wrote:Nah.. Somalia are doing better than most nation if it was in its place, that is due to somali Characters and Values, if whats happening in somalia happened anywhere else in Africa well they would have made ten Hotel Rwanda movies by now. Its a roller coaster once Somalia Bounce back the sky is the Limit, Internal Conflicts and qabil Problems and people still Get by, amazing wallahi.shaab_ wrote:Somalia is the laughing stock of the Horn.. everyone is so way ahead of them.
I believe this is changing because of the growth in Ethiopia due to loans and foreign investment, and eritreas 17% annual growth rate the highest in the world higher than qatar, which is due to the bisha mine and the new potash mine and other localy funded and locally owned projects.

You can Never trust what meles Says, even when holding a gun to his head. What he says from his Mouth is never whats in his heart this is a famous eritrean Poverb by the way. Look at what he did to the afars, he brought Investment and 10 years later 30% of afars land and resources are in Tigray and all the money making Projects benefits only Tigrayans, why do you think the afar rebels kidnapped the tourists???? Now the ethiopian afars want to join Eritrea loool they say before the ethiopian habesh takes what's left. I say serve them Right for Being habesh slaves for the last 500 Years Kissing their a**es, did you know that they were fighting against Gragn along side the ethiopian habesh king Ranks??? Laakin ogaden I care about let see and wait since most meles projects never Starts let alone finsihes.lolgurey25 wrote:waryaa OAF i have heard rumours about the Somali region.
It seems abdi illay has convinced Melez to open up the region economically and give him a free reign .
Trade will be opened up and restrictions lifted, and Somali telecom companies will be allowed to operate and invest in Ogadenia.
Telsom is the first and ahmed nur of barakat has been helping stage all this from djibouti.
if it is true then we are headed for an economic boom.
this is another sign that melez is in trouble, i still think it sounds too good.
