Barre Hiiraale Militia (and Raskambooni militias both wants to capture Kismaayo after alshabaab leave. I think there would be another civil war in that town. This Kenyans would either leave or take sides. I think Kismaayo is well off under alshabaab.

Wallaahi my village prefers Alshabaab to TFG. Last them that alshabaab was chased, TFG Mooryaans came in and started looting people of their cells, money. They even raped a married mom after holding her husband at gunpoint. The captured assailant turn out to be a sergent in the TFG. You can watch it on you tube because gabdha lug ayaa laga gooyay.

Al-shabaab, is not an ideological force. There is really no difference between the fighters of al-shabaab and those of the tfg. Apart from the foreign fighters in AS, the local fighters would switch sides any time of the day. The same is true of their leaders. Currently, it seems like the KDF are propping up Ras-kambooni through media propaganda, but the appearance of Hiiraale seemed to have excited a few officers in KDF. As it is, Sheikh Sharrif is getting uncomfortable with the cosy relationship that is existing among Madobe, Gen. Ismail & the KDF. That's why you'll hear that the TFG has requested Ethiopia to help capture Chismayu. But everyone knows that Ethiopia is a stick that pierces whoever leans on it.
