Puntland: Security for the officials
This is a joke another high official , second in the police is gunned down unprotected and funerable , and Galkacyo Courts man was killed in a similar situation and no one knows who were the killers who usually cover their face , first why the population is not helping/supporting the law and secondly why are there not atleast one security personel accompnying all the top officials.

Re: Puntland: Security for the officials
It is very surprising. The Somaliland officials do not get assassinated nor do TFG officials in Mogadishu (beyond the past Shabab suicide bombings but no snipping or shooting) nor really even officials in freed regions like Gedo or Hiiraan or Bay but the assassination of the representatives of Puntland State organs has become almost habitual. Something is not right here and I think Shabab may not be the biggest suspect.

Re: Puntland: Security for the officials
Good list but MX is contesting for the top seat.
If am not wrong, MX already secured the top military post, top financial seat and now are aiming for the top seat of all seats.

Aun to the dead offical, This is very worrying indeed, I expect this destabilization effort get worse up to the Pl elections. So PL must get better security for their officals

AUN the last guy who was killed was no longer in the service. People are killed all over, but somehow people tend to magnify and read into things moreso when it comes to Puntland. Yes Puntland has enemies, yes aano qabiil and other killings happen and no it is not unique to Puntland. Some haters on here will be mightly disappointed because Puntland is more than an individual killed here and there. What you see comes with the territory and you will see it, when you build a mamuul not supported by foreign troops.
