The allegation against so called Somali leaders that they pocket everything and every money intended for Somali population must be taken seriously and investigated and heads MUST role as a result , in the case of Faroole Puntland people and it's parliement must check faroole or is he not answerable to any one or any group of people.

63. Thanks to this massive initiative, the Puntland Maritime Police Force is now a
well-equipped elite force, over 1,000 strong, with air assets used to carry out ground
attacks, that operates beyond the rule of law and reports directly to the President of
Puntland. This private army disingenuously labeled a ‘counter-piracy’ force, has been
financed by zakat contributions mainly from high-ranking officials from the United Arab
Emirates, including Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed
Forces, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The UAE government, however, has
officially denied any involvement in the project.15

Faroole allegation was a minor mishap compared to the complex fraudulent money wiring schemes pulled by the two Shariifs. It is sad to know that the Somali people will not have the capacity to investigate such gross fraudulent activities, it was the monitoring group that did that. Accountability is absent and assuming someone will held to terms is merely thinking. No one elects this people the mechanism to remove them is absent and there is no consequences to their action.
