Abakar,Do you have a proof to what you claimed? I dont have a proble with sacad or any other person becoming mayor of Mogadishu as long as he is clean from qabyaalad ,has a good intentions and doing something good for the city oh,how can i forget,most importanty has the interests of mogadishu at heart just like tarsan is doing now.It is time to dislodge this narrow view and we will be willing to start it only if the rest of somalis are willing to become civilized and follow suit.

Will it be so shocking if I said as a Sacad, my family (Paternal)for four generations have roots in Xamar? People who have roots in that place need not feel soo insecure to proof anything because home is home. Truth of the matter is Sacad like many other Somali clans have people who only call Xamar home because that's where they were born and lived just like I call Minnesota home. Then there are those Sacad who want nothing to do with Xamar, like my maternal family and find Galinsoor to be heaven on earth So let's not be paranoid, a son of Mogadisho will always remain as such and that doesn't mean Sacads will take over Mogadisho

I strongly believe that Dr. Maxamud Hasan Ali Caade Gabow should be made Governor of Benadir and Mayor of Mogadishu. He is a native son and effective administrator/businessman. During the darkest days, he kept the mamuul going and managed to be an effective administrator who kept the admin together.

I am afraid his departure from the ambassadorial position was in fact due to his age and declining health.I know the guy personally,met him both in xamar and in the islamabad embassy and was appalled at how he sacadized the whole institution ,he did a good job for tolka sacad by the number of Sacad students who got scholarships.

Ahmed Marehan wanted to outmart Mr.Abdi Haji,The First went To the TFG Of Col.Yusuf and Obtained a written letter appointing him as the Somali Ambassador To Pak,But Abdi Haji was no fool he Immediately realized what going on and took a plane To Mogadishu and Obtained the Same letter for Himself. Xaaji was a bitter man, Axmed was slightly more fair.. Give him money you get seat you want. but with Xaaji money was not enough you had to be Hawyie too.
