The company moves an average of 50million litres of petroleum products annually with an estimated turnover ofKShs 3.3billion, a sizable figure for a company that is just three years old. Seems like the Trojan horse strategy works well in the business world too... The company plans to expand its downstream business to include lubricants and LPG (cooking gas). So, who—besides Hon. Billow Kerrow— owns Kenya's version of Trojan?
The shareholders are three Kenyan businessmen, namely:
Samow Osman
Bashir Hassan and
Hon. Billow Kerrow (former Somali-kenyan MP who is also a partner at Image Registrars, leading share registers and securities company).
The three businessmen also have interests in manufacturing, hotel industry and real estate in various parts of the country.

Thanks Exect for the post. Billow Kerow is one smart guy indeed! I am very surprised by how the Somali-Kenyans are highly educated and the confidence they show in public interviews. In watching this interview, I couldn't help but compare them with the so-called Somali politicians; people like Gaas, Samatar and so on. I say it is time we change our curriculum and apply whatever educational curriculum the Kenyans are using. Check out Abdiweli Gaas's Jazeera interview and compare that with any other Somali Kenyan and you would notice the difference. Not only do they have a better command in the English language, they seem to communicate and convey their messages with conviction. In standard education, Gaas has more educational credentials yet he doesn't talk or communicate like one

Kenyans probably still teach English grammar and English is basically their first language
