This thing is getting confusing now. It's like musical chairs. Everyday you hear hebel was sacked, hebel resigned or hebel joined a different party, hebel died of a heart-attack, hebel went this way, another went that way etc. etc. etc.
What are the policies of these "political parties"? Who do they represent? What are their political leanings? What are their proposed budgets? What are their economics plans?
To me it just seems like a qabiil politics with a shiny veneer of "democracy" on the outside.

well they all suck. all somali politics suck everyone of them. they all want to gain popularity and power, but none wants to have a real positive impact on the country. as they say diapers and politicians have something in common, they both have to be changed regularly. eventually we might find a good one.

I'm afraid I'm gonna have to look at your party manifesto before I make any decisions. Although judging by the name you've chosen, it looks like i'll be reading a menu.
Not a very efficient form of government is it.Somalistan wrote:well they all suck. all somali politics suck everyone of them. they all want to gain popularity and power, but none wants to have a real positive impact on the country. as they say diapers and politicians have something in common, they both have to be changed regularly. eventually we might find a good one.

Nope. And that is why I think we should go back to the system of government used at the time of PROPHET MUHAMMED SCW. It worked great in ecomonic, social and greater geo political scheme of things. Not to mention it' makes perfect sense for us to imitate that form of government than western manufactured one which has many ideologies that directly contradict our Islamic faith.

Lol@a menu; the name's just honestly speaking out loud what people are thinking in their heads.
. I'm going to make sure every citizen has access to employment so they can really eat.
On a serious note, waiting for the older generation to die out and hope for the removal of the guurti by the youth.Tbh,home politics bore me now.
