Today's speeches: The rise of the sheiks!

Post by waryaa »

Sheiks, Badiyow and Mohamed Yasin delivered good speeches!

Badiyo: I am a veteran in the military... presidents don't give out rank promotions from their pockets :)

Mohamed Yasin: I ain't no shabab but I am willing to sit with them to save Somali lives :o More weapons and foreign troops don't do sht fir us.

Al-Shabab should have been spoken to years ago. This would have been the best thing to do. There is no use for it now though. They will defeated by years end max.

The PMs agreed they were all exhausted and sleepy when he took the mike and energized the room. He is still the talk of the town  He said
they stole 100 millions while in transitional, I wonder how much they will bilk if they become permanent

yeh he really made the MPs relax and have some fun, I was also surprised that he could even read, there was this female MP who just couldn't stop laughing, even during the part of his speech where he was making serious valid points she was just laughing at him LMAO, then when he said "where I come from we don't say, I request of you, we say, I beg of you" LMAO, waan ku tuuga codkiin isiiya LMAO !

I liked Sharif's Speech, even though the guy is a diiikhead who just stormed out during Farmaajo's speech, I also liked Farmaajo's speech towards the end he really made some moving statements, he really made a strong speech which we needed to hear from him since he is mostly considered a push over because he left Somalia whiles Somalia was ready to fight for him, anyway his professionalism is amazing walahi, beyond Somali standards, and he did prove to be a strong character with his speech, especially towards his closing. I can see him as a President, he ticks all the boxes for me.

he did his homework.

I like Bashir Nur Bidar's promise: if elected, I promise to come back to Somalia with my family permanently. It gives ppl some assurance that he won't jump the ship easily. He challenged other candidates to do so.

Waryaa: Salaad is honest not necessarily in a good way but last night he had a good sense of humor. My friend was listening from the internet while i was still sleeping and i was sleep laughing.

Adali: I dont think Farmajo is a leader, he might be a manager/administrator.

adali, some ppl are saying Farmajo did very good except the last few statements. They interpreted it like choose between good and evil, me being the former and the rest being the later - either pick me or the country will slid back to chaos...

The question is, will he and other brilliant candidates stick around and help the country if they lose this election? I think they should unless they are motivated by ONLY power and fame.

prince, yep, he says what is in his mind...

Fake Promise.Does this guy really think alshabab are gonna stop fighting and be part of a government they consider as MURTAD? ,the extremist islamists in alshabab will rather go to hell than sit with the TFG.This is my Understanding and i am sure many of the folks in here agree with me on this issue.alshabab WILL NOT Negotiate especially when their TOP terrorist Leaders are Wanted by the CIA and FBI.

Why don't you think he is a leader ?? is it because of his tactical retreat when he resigned as PM, or is it because of his name Cheese, I like to know, but you are entitle to you opinion, even if it is just ignorant.

ThRemember this is Farmaajo
Image

He is both a bold leader, and a confident professional, he ticks all the boxes bro.

This is the man who served as our President, a supposed Wadaad shaking the hand of the opposite sex.

Lol

He ran out of the meeting in Nairobi
Image

He also stormed out during Farmaajo's speech, he has got to be the most emotional, weak president Somalia has ever had, Siyaad Barre(aun), Cabdullahi Yusuf(aun) must be rolling in their graves for having sat on the same seat as this Sh. Dalxiis.

Farmaajo will bring back Honor to the Iron throne, soon Somalia will not be a joke anymore.
Image

Waryaa, those words were really empowering, I like the fact that he reminded them that they are not choosing only a leader but also choosing a savior, which is true, Somalia needs to be saved, we have the chance to save Somalia, it is the best opportunity. Somalis are ready and hopeful, God knows when this window of opportunity closes, I honestly think Farmaajo speech inspired Somalis all over the world and also the MPs.

Bashiir Nuur Bidaar was killed by Hutus, they tied his dead body onto the back of a pick-up truck and drove around dragging his body all over Mogadishu, he was just a poor immigration officer during Siyaad Barre's government and they did that to him, I don't know why his son would want to relocate his family to a lawless place where his father was savagely murdered and his dead body abused and humiliated. Why would he make such a promise, he can't possibly be using his own family to help his chances to win.
