Abdiwahab,
Farmaajo/Abdiwali misread things big time. It was expected HG would either vote for Caddow/Abdiwali/Farmaajo to assure themselves Presidency/PM however many voted for Shariif/Hassan. It looks like HG have firmly surrendured Hawiye leadership to Abgal.

"Part of what happened today came after some alliances were formed between Hasan Sheikh and Prime Minister Abdiweli Ali."
The prime minister had been vying to become head of state, but came third in the first round of polling among the country's MPs, and conceded defeat. It appears his supporters threw their weight behind the opposition candidate, pushing him over the electoral threshold.
This doesnt predict goodness, laakiin he has my benefit of the doubt. If it turns out to be another slave of bintiland, i might withdraw my support.

Abdiwali only had 30 votes, so if you even take them away he would have wonHutuKing01 wrote:"Part of what happened today came after some alliances were formed between Hasan Sheikh and Prime Minister Abdiweli Ali."

True, but abdiweli made him a promise to give all binti's votes in return for pm position.
That is what the article says, not me
I just hope that Dir or other darood(except bintilander) is made pm.
Wallahi this abgaal-mj occupation of top positions will lead to new violence(conflicts between pres/pm, other clans opposing the govt etc). Its unhealhty.

this election we have been played by the akwaans big time, we are losing the war on terror
these akwaans are parasites that live of the noble tribal politics
I know the new president, he is a decent and honest man but he is an appeaser and believes in the good nature of men and he bleives in somalinimo iyo islamnimo
where is exective
I admit ,somalia is under occupation of akwaans
ps: khalid ali iska ilaaliya dadka bu raba in uu ku diro dadka the new president, he wants to tainted a non tribal decent men with tribalism and make people oppose him
khalid ali majority of the somali people support the new president
