PBS FRONTLINE: INSIDE SYRIA

Post by AbdiWahab252 »

Wow, folks watch it on Frontline. The reporter got nuts the size of watermelons. Look at him crossing the streets lazily and walking so far apart from the others.

I like the show because it interviews the FSA rebels and as great video shots of street battles. However, no interviews with the government of Bashir Assad.

I am amazed at how the rebels are teeming with Al Shababi types and secularists. Its just a matter of time before the Al Shababi types get the upper hand and massacre the secularist FSA.

Finished the series, my take:

1. Great video and audio of the conflict.

2. A quick sneak peek of the rising Al Qacida influence in Syria.

3. No credible interview with the Syrian Government,

OVerall, a great piece of FSA propaganda.

Samatr,

Sorry saxiib, Aleppo looks much better. The fat guy done focked up. He looked well fed, and dapper in his clean clothes.

The rebels were awful saxiib and were disorganized. I loved the guy on the 50 caliber machine gun on the technical. Were was he shooting at ?

AW, t

The reporter is Ghaith Abdul-Ahad a journalist who writes mainly from the Guardian. He actually used to fight in the Iraqi army, defected in the early 2000's, and ended up becoming a journalist. He's probably the best war reporter out there, he has articles from every place you can think of, Somalia included. Check out his Frontline special with Shababists in Yemen, top notch stuff.

Samadoon,

There will be massive amounts of blood letting as the Sunnis take revenge on the Allwais. The only solution lies in talks with Assad keeping his Presidency and conceding the PM to the Sunni rebels and a 15,000 man OIC peacekeeping force to keep the two sides apart.
