many middel eastern religions including islam had being influence greatly by ancient Greek persian and other pagans believes around around mediterranean sea!! even how we pray muslims circeling holy sides are probably originated pagans persian/ greek believes. not many of you know that paradise concenpt f paradise was invented by ancient persians. word itself is persian.. Arabic scripture is not originated in jasariitaul Arabia. so not only crecent which come from other believes but probably many things.
