A Massive Rally in Support of UCID takes Hargeisa by Storm

The biggest Rally which was held in the famous Freedom Gardens (xorriyada) in the city of Hargeisa were Hundreds upon thousands of supporters had converged as early as six o’clock this morning to attend the first political rally by UCID.

Among those attending today’s Rally at the Freedom Gardens were those in the top echelons of the party lead by the current Chairman of UCID Hon Feisal Ali Waraabe, Presidential Hopeful Hon Jamaal Ali Hussein, Vice-Chairman Adan Jama Hoori and the Secretary -General of UCID Hon Ahmed Kayse among many others in attendance.

First to speak during the rally at the Freedom Gardens was Ahmed Kayse the Secretary-General of UCID who thanked the massive crowd of supporters for their show of support which indeed shown that UCID has a strong grass root support and that UCID had good chance of winning the majority of seats in the upcoming local elections hence the right party to address the concerns and problems of the people.

The Chairman of UCID Hon Feisal Ali Waraabe told cheering crowds given the chance his party will introduce massive changes to the decaying infrastructure of our urban centers which are currently in deplorable state considering the hefty taxes which are currently been imposed on the citizens of this country by the current government which also does little if not nothing to elevated the living standards of the commoners.

Lastly the youthful Charismatic Presidential Hopeful Hon Jamal Ali Hussein who thanked party followers for the unrelenting backing not only for the UCID but also for the backing of party candidates who are expected to take part in the Upcoming elections, he urged all party faithful’s to come out in large numbers during election day so as to make their voice heard.

Various aspirants running on UCID Ticket addressed the rally pledging to serve the people if elected to office; Major Streets in Hargeisa city were flooded by staunch supporters of UCID

Im sorry but i seen it on tv and it wasn't a good turn out. The Garden looked empty and burco turn out was even worse. I don't think ucid will make it. Maybe's its due to the new leadership but numbers were low overall.

Much better then todays Xisbiga Kulmiye turn out so horriable thy will lose in landslide 2015 kulmiye will not even win 1 city.
