Gobdoon, to be sure, there are local criminal elements who are prone to capitalize on these civilian unrests brought about cowardly bombing attacks perpetrated by Alshabab linked cells, and that is why we have, at least, in large part, the looting and the targeting of Somalis, every time a terrorist throws a grenade to a vehicle or densely populated area. Having said that though, it should not come as surprise to anybody that people are naturally predisposed to react when they feel they have been slighted or in this case of Nairobi bombings, murdered in cold blood, and the end-result is quite often not pretty and the compatriots of the suspects will, as consequence, pay a heavy toll both in terms of lives and property lost.

Kenyan police are very incompetent. investigation, surveillance, and intelligence is what is needed to prevent and combat crimes not brute force and abusing innocent citizen's rights.
