Good debate & both sides, the pro tahriib and those against it, made good points. But the reality is, no matter what people say, when someone who lived back home all their life sees an old friend of theirs who returned from the West, built a huge house in their neighborhood & married the hottest chick in the suburb, no one can persuade them, the young people, not to take the risk of tahriib.

All in all, it's good thing to hold such debates & openly talk about the ups and downs of such a trip & how the obstacles young people are facing back home can be solved.

 good point. My perspective was tainted before. That little brother really changed my mind. For those who would want to do tahriib, I pray for them for safe journey.

hadaan ku busaaradso halkaan dageneehay waan ka tahriibaayaa...that is just human nature. You always look for better situation for your self. Laakiin xigmadu waxa weeye Tahriibku waa mid noocma ah? Maaha inaad naftaada haligto.

Who am I to judge? You have to be in their shoes.
