Instead of all of us shedding crocadile tears lets put things into perspective. We spend all our time bickering, insulting each other on clan lines, wishing for each others destruction and being sorrowful at each other's success yet We wanna cause a rucous about some video of some Somalis getting beat? Lets think about it, Somalis have been killing off each other like dhaqsi, forcing each other out of their homes, raping each other yet we wanna go all ape shid at some KDF beating some Somalis? Heck, I didn't even see these guys doing much they were hitting them with some small little stick, this is childs play compared to what Somalis have been doing to each other for 21 years. The way I look at it is dulmi is dulmi. If tommorow a Somali takes my house at gunpoint making me homeless, takes my families honor, steals my belongings I'll be just as enraged as if a Gaal did it. Oppression is oppression and it defies human logic to say that one should support dulmi by their somali clan, yet go all crazy when a Kenyan does it. I say all that to say that we as Somalis put ourselves in this situation.


So for all of us going crazy at this little video, at least lets show some xishood and damn principle by not jumping to a tribal hatred clan the next minute, being hypocritical. Today every major clan in Somalia has foreign mercenaries in their lands and suffice it to say there not there to distribute milk and cookies. These are hardened, unchecked 3rd rate armies with no principles or conventions of war. All Somalis are going through the same situation so lets forget all the bravehart false bravado and look ourselves in the mirror.

Its not really a question, but I think our passion should be on not doing the things that weakens You to the point that foreigners can come into Your Country and do these things. We wanna carry on with qablaayad, xaasidnimo yet we wanna act patriotic when a Somalis is beaten in their own Country by a foreigner.

One thing that we Somalis all have to acknowledge and come to terms with is that qabyaalad is our way of life.
